YOGA is the oldest self-development system in the world, which allows achieving a state of mental balance through physical, mental, and spiritual exercises. Yoga provides health and longevity through the practice of asanas (yoga positions), which enhance spinal flexibility (the foundation of life), calm overly irritated nerves, relax muscles, and nourish organs and their nerve centers.
The body, mind, and emotions form an inseparable whole, influencing each other. By discovering unconscious patterns encoded in the body in the form of muscle and joint stiffness or excessive weakness, improper posture, and blocked breathing, we reach the sources of our life attitudes. Through exercises, we have the chance to transform them.
The main goal of yoga practice is to regain contact with the body, so that we can feel and understand it. Experiences related to practice influence the gradual overcoming of barriers rooted in the body. It also helps calm the fevered mind, find peace and harmony, and become attentive, aware, present, and open to oneself and reality.
Mindful Yoga is a form of deeper contact with the body combined with breathing. It allows reaching every cell and discovering the patterns and emotions recorded in it. Its practice develops physical and emotional flexibility. During these classes, you can expect a gentle, calm, and mindful practice, focused on inner observation and working with the breath. The classes are led by a certified mindfulness teacher.
